Setting up for crosscutting with the 48" Table Saw Model |
PORTABLE VERSIONS
1. Heavy stable motor
2. Large diameter blade to cut more veneer
3. No adjustments necessary
4. Requires a minimum 3 ft long cut off table for the table saw models
How TO ORDER:
Each trimmer has the guide bar fitted to match the table saw/sliding table saw for which it is intended to be used.
Each saw, even those of the same models, is a little different. To measure for the proper fit, first insert the 60-tooth
triple chip carbide saw blade that will be used as the veneer blade on the table saw.
For the table saw, measure the distance between the right face of the saw blade (measure from the teeth not the plate)
and the left edge of the right miter gauge slot in the table of the table saw. This dimension and the make and model of the
table saw are all that is needed to make an order.
For the sliding table saw, measure the distance from the left face of the triple chip blade to the right edge of the
slot in the sliding table. Then measure the depth and width of the slot. These dimensions along with the model and make of
the saw are all that are needed to make an order.
Make your order using the contact information at the bottom of the page. Allow 2 weeks for the basic Trimmer to be
fitted out for the version ordered and the specific guide bar location.
The diagram below shows the dimensions that are required. They are shown in red.

STATIONARY VERSION FOR THE PORTABLE CIRCULAR SAW

2. The table saw is free for other operations

tables on the table saw
4. Easy and safe one person operation
5. The maximum depth of cut is limited to 1/2" of veneer
at one time with the standard 7 1/4" Saw, For 1/32" veneer that is 16 leaves.
HOW TO ORDER
For the portable circular saw version simply let us know which heavy duty circular you plan to use. The recommended
blade will be shipped with the Trimmer. Currently there are models from the following manufacturers that will fit the Trimmer
: Porter Cable, Milwaukee, Bosh, DeWalt, Makita, and Rigid . The edge of the shoe to the blade dimension should be 5"
+- 1/8" . If you have one of the older saws with a blade to guide dimension wider than 5 1/4" or less than 4 7/8"
we will have to do a custom saw guide. The cost would be approximately $40.00. Some of these older models, like our 20 year
old Porter Cable are much more rigid than the newer saws and are worth the extra effort.
Make your order using the comtact information at the bottom of the page. Allow 2 weeks for the basic Trimmer to be fitted
out for the version ordered and the specific guide bar location.
